Looking for a way to showcase your early childhood education work, engage volunteers, and conduct your Day of Action event? Build a Born Learning Trail! You can install a set of fun, physical learning activities that parents or any caregiver can play with young children at any outdoor setting. This soup-to-nuts kit makes it easy.
The Born Learning Trail can create a valuable community resource for early learning, and offers opportunities for visibility and volunteer engagement. It also provides volunteers and sponsors with stronger connections to early learning.

Signs
There are ten durable plastic signs available, each printed with playful, engaging activities based on early learning outcomes. Some signs are designed to stand alone, while others require additional enhancements (such as stencils to be painted on the path or surface area). 12" x 24" signs are made of .155" (4mm) white exterior plastic; sign life is approximately two to four years.

Stencils
Using stencils (shapes, letters, and hopscotch squares) can increase the physical fun for adults and children using the Trail. Stencils measure 3 feet by 3 feet, and are made of durable Tyvek material that is washable and reusable. Hopscotch stencil is 12 feet long by 3 feet wide.
Poster
This colorful and engaging promotional poster can be localized to promote the Born Learning Trail installation, or to invite volunteers to get engaged in an existing Trail.

The User Guide provides strategies to maximize the Born Learning Trail with media, volunteers and sponsors. Its easy-to-read format offers many different suggestions for getting the most out of the Born Learning Trail.

Order Info:
Each Born Learning Trail Kit is localized with your organization name/logo at no extra cost. Trail Kits can be ordered with plastic signs (40040) or aluminum signs (40055). This product is produced after ordering and is available two to four weeks after order date.
Orders needed in less than two weeks can be rushed for an additional charge of $200.00.

United Way Store accepts print-ready files in any of the following formats: .eps, .jpg, .pdf, .ps, .psd, .tif. If you have an artwork file in any other format, we encourage you to create a PDF file (Acrobat 4 version 1.3) that can be uploaded to customerservice@unitedwaystore.com. Please make sure that all text is converted to "outlines" and that all images and text are at least 300 dpi.
